Weaned and Ready Vaccine/processing RECOMMENDATIONS

Vaccination, medication and proper care are some of the most integral parts of every cattle producer's program. If proper steps are not taken early regarding the care of your herd, health and profitability can decline causing great challenges for you and possibly another cattle producer who purchased your calves. Through the ACCA Weaned and Ready Program, assistance is offered in providing clarity to buyers as to the vaccination and working protocols you follow. Please be aware that we accept a variety of vaccine and care protocols, however we will review your vaccinations and medication strategy when we are determining certification. 

Here is our suggested vaccine protocol:

• IBR (boosted at 14 days)
• Blackleg with tetanus (boosted 14 days)
• Injectable wormer
• Lutelytic  injection (heifer calves only)
