ACCA Weaned and Ready Calf Program

All calves must be born, raised, and purchased in the continental United States.

Calves must be weaned at least 30 days at time of application turn in and at least 45 days weaned at time of sale. This will be confirmed by time labeled videos of calves. Click here to learn more.  

Adequate vaccines and worming must be administered to the calves. Click here to see our suggested vaccination/medication protocol. 

• Bull calves must be castrated before time of sale.
• Heifers over 500lbs must be guaranteed open at the time of sale. Luteolytic drug administration is advised for these calves.    

Provide the Incentive Committee with a time labeled video of your calves on the day of weaning. Click here for information on how to correctly provide this information.

For time sensitive applications call 580-774-8230 for information. 

The ACCA Incentive Committee will review your applications and will respond with a decision of approval or denial. 

• If Approved: Certification tags will be shipped to the address provided in the application. Certification documentation and membership confirmation will also be sent to the provided address.

• If Denied: All information and funds will be returned to sender along with reason for denial into program.   

The Weaned and Ready Program Certification provides cattlemen many advantages in marketing and documentation.

• Opportunity to affiliate your stock with high quality commercial livestock.
• Prospective buyers are given online access to ACCA certification, vaccination protocols and weaning records in the incentive archives page.
